Questions we get asked most

01. My custom build won't boot — is it worth bringing in, or is it dead?

Almost always worth checking. Most "dead" builds are a seating issue, a BIOS problem, or a single faulty component rather than a written-off board. We test for free before quoting any repair — you only pay if we fix it.

02. Do you actually repair motherboards, or just replace them?

We repair at board level where it's possible — shorts, damaged traces, failed components — in our own lab. Replacement is the fallback, not the first answer.

03. I spilled liquid on my laptop — what should I do right now?

Power it off immediately, don't try to turn it back on, and get it to us as soon as you can. The faster it comes in, the better the odds for both the board and your data.

04. What's "local AI / LLM setup"?

Running AI models directly on your own hardware instead of a cloud subscription — private, works offline, no per-message cost. We size the hardware, install it and tune it for what you actually want to use it for.

05. Do I need an appointment?

Drop-ins are welcome, but booking ahead means we can have the right person and tools ready — especially for board-level and custom-build work.
